do u need a gasket to install a 1g bov on a 2g? i have a flange already just wondering if u need a gasket cause the type s has one

A light coating of silcone seal will work fine. Spray the surfaces with WD-40, wipe it off, then put a thin layer on one side. Don't block the bleed orifice in the base of the BOV.

The WD-40 makes removal much easier.
