Well I am thinking there is something wrong with either the valve, or the way I mounted the valve, the car is a 90 TSi. My mods are listed, and after I did the UICP & MAFT install I had to remount the BOV, so I bolted it up with the vent faceing the firewall, (the flange is on the bottom of the pipe).
Now before I did the upgreads, once in a blue moon I vented the BOV knowing it's not a good thing just for the hell of it. At that time it vented very quickly and well sharp I guess would be a good way to explaine it.
Now it is a long drawn out vent compaired to before thats not quite as loud. I am thinking its either alot more air to vent than before due to the larger UICP, or that it has to do with the way it is mounted.
Im not exactly close to my car right now (Iraq) and was just curiouse as my old man could try fliping it around so that the vent faced the front of the car if it was incorrect.
