1g Bov question

Hey guys,i was wondering is there any ways how to make my stock 1g Bov Louder?

If Yeas,how can i do that
I'm not venting to the Atmosphere and i wont do that

i want to know is it possible to make it louder without venting?

You can create a hard recirculation pipe. That ill make it somewhat louder but nothing too special

if u do a full exhaust 3in preferably. i did full 3in no cat and its very loud, even with stock bov and recirculation pipe.

I'm Thinking to make bigger nipples hole which is on top of the Bov,And make little hole on a side (Like making hole to do recirculation pipe) but leave that hole open,so that a little bit of air can come out of that hole
Is it good Idea or not???

What? He's talking about the blow off valve sound off of the 1g BOV and how loud it is...not the exhaust

I wouldnt do that to the blow off valve mod that you are talking about. Its just going to leak and you are wrecking a good BOV. Get an aftermarket blow off valve and make sure to recirc. it. I have the Type RS recirc'd and it isnt overly loud, but loud enough to hear.

How will this prevent the system from pulling in un-metered and un-filter air? This is actually worse and can do more damage than flat out venting.

By drilling a hole in the side and letting it vent. How will it NOT leak? You would be "half" venting your blow off valve...

I have a 2g and i blocked off all vaccum lines going into my intake and capped them off on the other end as well. One of mine was from the valver cover, i remember that. A quick search yeilded a vaccuum line for a charcoal canister. I'm not too sure on the accuracy of that so try doing a search.

Are you kidding? It has to go from the blow off valve to the intake. Thats how it...RECIRCULATES.

Why would you be asking this question if you truly are not venting like you claimed , you're simply replacing the rubber hose with a metal pipe.

No offense, but either were on different pages or your totally clueless. The pipe that YOU need to make is the one that runs from the blow off valve to the intake...thats it and thats all.

Youve changed this topic like 5 times. What do you want to know? That mod is totally unbenificial to you and what you are looking for. You are looking for a louder blow off valve out of the stock 1g. The ONLY way to do that is to create a hard recirculation pipe to replace the stock rubber one..

Just forget about it. There is no reason to make it louder and no real way to make it louder except for using the MAF-T to vent and you are not ready for that. Just be happy with the way it sounds no and do a little research before posting.
