1G BOV Question

Hey guys I'm placing a 1G bov on my car and I want to know where from the BOV does the small nipple connect to? Does the large opening on the BOV need to connect to anything?

are you sure you have a 1G BOV and not a Greddy Type-S (has a purple top) because from my knowledge they only have 1 nipple which is a direct replacement with an adaptor on the stock 2G pipe.

yes, its just a regular 1G BOV. So where does the small nipple connect to?

Adding spacers to the spring inside can enable you to hold more pressure as in this mod: http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=97971

It doesn't change the fact that dumping metered air will cause the car to run rich.

The little nipple goes to a vacuum line that was connected to your stock bov. The big one goes to the recirculating tube also connected to your stock bov.

You lost me on this part.

From this image where does the big opening connect to? Or can it stay open like that?

i only see ONE NIPPLE! and that connects to the SAME line thats on your stock BOV which should be leading to the intake manifold. The you put the return tube on the intake and reconnect it to the 1G BOV.

here i posted a pic on my gallery of my 1G BOV on my talon. The yellow lines follow the "nippled hose" and where teh BOV vents. Also ignore the "catch can" the white can thingy in the middle of the hose coming from the BOV . Its not connected to that at all , its running underneath it.
