1g Balance Shaft Elimination - triyed?

hi to everybody.

i have read several comment regarding the elimination of the balance shaft.
i will be happy to know if somebody has tried the car after this operation?
it is all OK? in case you will do it again?
how hp you think that you have gained?

i have a 91 Eclipse 2WD 5 speed.

I eliminated mine. The gain comes from having a lighter overall rotating assembly and from eliminating chances for possible engine and/or belt failure. Lots of people do this with no problems. There are more problems associated with having the shafts than there are not having teh shafts.

You will also have higher oil pressure, a search would have gave you all your answers.
