1g awd starting issues

I have a 1992 talon awd with fresh rebuild on motor from showdown motorsports and just about all maintenance done from the power steering rack to the fuel filter. My first problem is it randomly will refuse to start, it will turn over start for 1 second or so then turn off right away it happens so fast its hard to say that it even starts. Then other times it starts up first time i turn the key and works perfect and it is one or the other so it either starts perfect that day or it doesn't start at all that day. My second issue is my transmission i have replaced those stupid seals 3 TIMES NOW!!! and it still leaks! i am 90% sure it is the seals since the transfercase has fluid all over it and the car smokes from the fluid leaking onto the exhaust. If anyone has any ideas that would be great thank you

can be the output shaft seal too. end what about your battery? she might be grounded ( broken cells ) at the inside, or bad connection wires

its not the output shaft there is no fluid around that and its a brand new battery but i am leaning towards a loose connection since i am just finishing my car i have been taking the negative on and off the battery and have not yet fully tighten it down i will try that tomorrow for sure
