1g AIR CONDITIONING COMPONENTS

I have a 91 talon Tsi and the guy before me pulled ALL the air conditioning components out of the engine bay. I was wondering what all I need to put A/C back into my car.

This is what I think I need:
1.Compressor(already have one but it hasn't had lines in it since I bought it...still good if the clutch isn't locked?)
2.Condenser(Thing up by the radiator)(NEED)
3. Lines(NEED)
4. A/C fan(can I use slimline fans as long as I can bolt that little box to the fan?)(NEED)

Is there anything else in the engine bay that I am forgetting or missing?

I'm in the same situation as you. All the A/C components were pulled by the previous owner of my Eclipse. It sucks when it's 80+ degrees outside, it's raining and the windows are too foggy to see out of. Anyway, make sure you have all the necessary wiring, the A/C relay and fuse(s). Don't forget all the necessary bolts and hardware. Along with the evaporator, make sure it also has the drier attached. That's all I have on my list of parts to get. It's best to find a 1g at the junkyard and take everything A/C related from the engine bay.

where is the evaporator and drier at? is it the condenser im thinking of up infront of the radiator? hardware im not worried about. but i just wanna make sure im getting everything...

Yea driving in the rain is the most annoying thing ever in the summer! also sitting in traffic in 80-90+ degree weather and no wind because its OHIO! UGH!

hey guys just to let you know, i just deleted everything A/C related in my 1g and if anybody wants any ac parts let me know. ill check back in this thread if you are interested. the only thing i dont have is the condenser. i threw it away, it wasent reusable. everything under the dash is good and all the lines and compressor(not locked). so yeah just let me know or make an offer.

Yes the condenser is mounted in front of the radiator and the evaporator is mounted adjacent to the heather core. The receive/drier is in front of the condenser, attached via a bracket to the right side of the condenser.

I believe Everything inside the dash is still there so I believe I still have the receiver drier. does anyone know the easiest way to check to see if its still there? I still have heat if that means anything... Thanks for your help so far.

honestly the best way to know if you have everything you need inside the car would be to pull the dashboard out and check. if you say the heater is working then you can be sure you at least have the heater core, which is the black box directly behind the ecu. the ecu is behind the stock audio deck/face.
with the car off, see if when you turn the three a/c dials inside the car you feel a little resistance and hear some shuffling noise under the dash. if so then that means the cables that go from the dials to the a/c stuff under the dash is there and connected. if they feel really loose and easy to move with NO resistance then you will need to take the dash out anyway to install the components and connect the cables and electrical connectors.

ok well i can almost garentee thats still there because the guy half asses everything before me and i can bet he didnt pull the dash apart. The dials move like u said with a little resistance. I think all i need is the stuff in the engine bay.

ok i have EVERYTHING NOW! The only thing I am Missing is the Tensioner...Where can I get this and does anyone have the part number? I cant seem to find it in junkyards or the stores around here...do I have to goto a dealer? I dont wanna talk to the devil! but I might have to.

I just pulled a complete tensioner assembly from a customer's 1G. It's in perfect shape but the adjuster screw is broken in the mount. I was going to scrap it, but it's yours for free if you cover shipping.
