1g a/t awd to 5sp awd swap finished but no injector pulse!

Hi my name is Joe I finished my swap to a 5 speed and I have no injector pulse when I tried to start it. The a/t car is a 1991 and the donor 5 speed was a 1990. I swaped ecu and engine wiring harness along with everything else. I have read in some of the threads here that I might have to switch a couple of wires for the injector triggers but Im not sure witch ones. I think there is one wire for the tack too.Can anyone help? Good point. I swaped everything from a running donor car pedals, shifter, rear diff, trans, transfer case, clutch master, throttle body, ign, ign transister, crank trigger, engine harness, and ecu. I know I have to run a tach wire, but the car should run!(1990 ecu and wiring in a 1991)Or I might have a bunk ecu maybe when I had the caps replaced someone screwed it up. Do you know anyone that can test it? Thanks for your help.
 
open up the ecu, and look at the capacitors.. if they look like they have been leaking, then the ecu is toast.. vfaq.com will tell you how, among other things..

seriously, you gotta read the rules.. they are going to bust out the ban stick on you for bumping your own thread.. LOL

just make sure you post as much info as possible.. I work for an ISP, and people call me saying "whats wrong with my internet!!?!" that doesnt help.. we need the info in order to assist you..
 
Umm seriously I don't know what bumping my own thread means, if I did, it was by accident. The title of the thread says alot don't you think? I've swaped EVERYTHING needed. I'm just not getting any injector pulse. When I had the caps replaced there was some leakage, but the donor car did run! That's why I was thinking I might have missed a wiring mod. I don't want to spend more money (that means my wife won't let me)but I guess I'll start looking for a replacement ecu. No I didn't wire in the inhibitor switch. When the car cranked over I ruled that out. Thanks

when you turn the key on! does the stock boost guage go to 0 and does the check engine light come on then go off?? good way to tell if the ecu is bad! otherwise use the search feature its much easier than waiting on people to post!
