1G 1g 4G37 1.8 to 2.0 question

well a friend of mine has a 1.8 91 eclipse and is wanting to swap in a 92 2.0 in his car. all i need to know is what he needs.

like does he need ecu, axles, tranny, harness etc..... or just the long block.

Actually, I'm in the process of going from a 1.8 to JDM 4g63t motor

I'm guessing he is going with a n/t motor and if so all he needs is a wiring harness from a 90-91 2.0 n/t, the motor mounts, tranny, axles, power steering, alternator, radiator, ect. is all the same. It's basically a plug in deal. You just need patience with the wiring harness because the whole harness needs to be replaced so the dash will have to come out. I think the 1.8 exhaust will bolt right up to the 2.0 exhaust mainfold. If not then just get a d/p off a 2.0 from a junk yard.

The best thing to do is talk to some1 that has done it and don't listen to ppl that don't know what they are talking about.
