1G 1g 1992 GS no power at 2500 rpm

I got my 1992 GS and I got some problems since last week and I don't know where to look.

When I'm driving and get it to 2500 rpm it has no power (mostly third gear).
When I am driving the highway at 120 km/h and floor the gas pedal I feel like there is no reaction (throttle body is full open but it has no sign of accelerating).
Sometimes it goes away when I slowly pull the gas pedal up and then floor it again or downshift and back again but that's not really fun to do. There is no difference when I got a cold or warm engine. It runs on 4 cylinders.

Can it be a sensor/or something else?

It is a non turbo. That engine doesn't even wake up until 4000 RPM.
Flooring the car at low rpm and high speed just allows for more air to come into the engine, your ECU decides on the fuel. It will accelerate however it will being weak at low RPM's.

If I'm mistaken, run a compression test.

Sounds like it may be TPS related, test the sensor.
Is the check engine light on?
What's the condition/age of the O2 sensor?

Have you checked and verified mechanical and ignition base timing?

check engine light is not on.
but i will test the tps/o2 sensor and run a compression test.

Have u change fuel filter ? Mine is sounding like its clogged but the filter is new ?
