1G 17" wheel sizes???

Hey, just wondering what offset and is 114.3 greek for 4.5"? (5 lug 4.5"..old school)

Well,

You are going to want to be in the 38 to 42 mm offset range and 7 or 7.5" width.
As for bolt pattern, 5x.114.3mm is the same as 5x4.50". Most tuner wheel mfgs lable there stuff metric eg 5x114.3mm.

Most people upgrading their wheels will choose a lower offset than the +46mm stock to allow room for wider tires.

Yes the 1g, 2G, 3G are all 5x114.3mm

You will find most 17x7s are 40mm offset. A 38mm would stick the wheel out 2mm, while the 42 would bring it in 2mm. In any event it is so little its usually immateial on our cars.

Just stay between 38 and 42mm, you can do a 45mm, but I prefer closer to a 40.

Cool, Iam now trading some fabricating skills for some Tenzo R, Sinko-R 18"X7.5" 42mm offset. They come off a 99 Prelude. Still waiting to find out tire sizes.

Not greek. 1"=25.4mm in metric or 2.54 cm.

17x7.5 35mm offset will fit very nice as well. As for tire size you'll want make sure the overall diameter of the new tires are close or the same as the stock tires. Increasing or decreasing the tires' diameter has the effect of lengthening or shortening your gearing as well as throwing off your speedo readings (of course).

Be careful when grabbing wheels off Hondas. While it is true that the recent 5-lug Hondas are often 5x114.3mm, as we are, their center bore is only 64mm, while ours is 67.1mm.
