i got the car to start by giving it gas while cranking just now but that doesnt always work, and this problem has been going on for a while. car hasnt died on me while driving, but usually will die right after i park and turn off my car. jumping it doesnt always work. problems started about 6 weeks ago, dissapeared for the past 3 weeks but just started again the other day. I got my battery, starter, and alternator all tested on multiple occasions. at different oreilly’s, autozones, and once by a random friendly mechanic at the gas station who happened to have an alternator tester.

Test your coolant temp sensor. If they're off or not reading correct they can cause start problems including a no start.
