Yesterday I took a nice leisure drive to TRE and back which was about 960km ( 600 miles ) to drop off my transmission to get re done. While I was there I was rather tempted to go PPG dogbox, but it’s a street car mainly that sees the track on weekends. What to do what to do. Here’s some pics

Happy holidays everyone,

Nothing too crazy has happened here, it’s been way too cold and unmotivating to do anything. But I did pick up the transmission from Jon @ TRE, always nice to see Jon and Aaron when I go. couldn't have asked for better weather getting there LOL. i also now have a great paperweight at work and a conversation piece.

I also got my spare evo 3 valve cover powder coated the same colour as my current one and got some 10AN fittings welded onto it. The 6an on my current wasn’t enough for breathing at 35psi+ of boost. Current set up is VTA I may have a vacuum line added to pull if needed. I must say the valve cover came out great!

Happy spring everybody,

been a long winter up here in the north so i didnt do a whole lot over the winter.

a couple goals for this year was to upgrade to 10AN fittings for the valve cover, relocate the alternator, delete the thermostat since it only sees fair weather, reboot the passenger front outer cv axle. i was just going to use one from another axle so i played around with that and gave up after it was giving me problems and decided to try out a brand new GSP axle. which looks fantastic and really close to the same size and quality of the OEM. also clean up the bay overall.

i had to replace the battery in it because of it sitting all winter it died on me, battery was under warranty of not being a year old. of course it died in the driveway trying to put it back in the garage, my great idea of hiding the battery meant i had to jack it up to boost the car LOL.

slowly getting there bit by bit. here is some pictures:

Looking good. Should have went with a Saturn alternator while you were in there. How does your catch can vent, it's hard to tell in the picture?
The 90amp i have is plenty for the 40psi i'm throwing at it haha. it just vents to atmosphere on the front half of the top. its a vibrant catch can

Hi guys and gals,

With the cops being extra strict with modified cars, I figured there would never be a better time to re do the exhaust! Shoutout to Rob Fig for the thermal R&D muffler, and my neighbour Will for fabricating and welding for me. We’ve known eachother since the third grade.

The new set up now is my custom 3” downpipe with external 38mm wastegate, Gesi 3” in/out catalytic converter, Vibrant 3” in/out ultra quiet resonator, and Thermal R&D muffler with mainly V bands. Night and day difference from my apexi n1 exhaust set up.
