I have a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS and the issue is that the car tends to cut off power sometimes. It won’t start so we would have to jump start it but when it does start we would drive it and then all of the sudden it starts to drop power and shut off and then we would have to jump started to get it running again.

Also when I'm driving and turn on the radio it also tends to drop power and shut off.

If anybody has had an issue or knows how to fix this issue. Let me know in the comments highly appreciate it.

It sounds to me like the alternator is going out.
Have a look into the battery terminals and battery though to make sure it's nothing simple. A loose battery terminal causes more issues than you would probably imagine on these cars.
