i actually kinda liked the body kit.. LOL. either way man that is a nice car.

Thanks fellers! The turbo is stillgunna be a 16g, just need more money! Haha.. On a side note I got dsmlink in, and I must say that's an amazing investment.. Now hopefully innovative hurries up, had to send me wideband back..

Well, quiet a few updates! I've been working on getting the swap over fr a t25 to a 16g completely forgetting that the 14b and 16g have the same housing.. And bought a 14b:banghead: I picked up a Greddy 18R from a buddy in place of the VR being that they were on back order an I needed this thing on the road!!

A465A501-13EB-4308-BE74-2F38C965F360-530-00000053063EB2F0_zps5a9ca048.jpg

So after finding out my "16g" was none other than a 14b I decided to join the 14b club. I finally bolted everything on and began my journey with DSMlink!!

While tuning my car decided to throw me.. Multiple curves, the first and Formost was that my knock was insane.. To much for what it is. Something mechanical such as a FPR.. So that will be replaced soon.. Well after pulling over to out a tune in this happens...

09E19E68-BFD3-4DB4-A563-174BC5EBF63A-530-0000005299B6C254_zps9bc90133.jpg

My car does the "stanky leg" broke a ball joint, and tore the CV axle... I'm just glad I wasn't driving. So I call the towing company and they come to tow my car. Well the guy hooks up and starts dragging it. I'm asking if there is anything I can do perhaps take the wheel out hold it up (I had two other buddies) to help it roll better and e stated there was nothing I could do as he dragged the car up the ramp.. Making god awful noises. Finally it was up there.. Like this.

8C359FBA-3A25-4651-921B-19108335B87F-530-00000052A9F2EBD8_zps1e72a956.jpg

I was to say the least irritated.. Well he takes me and my dsm to my house about two miles away and drops it off.. Of course e couldn't get it off the ramp straight.. So what does he do?.. Tries to lift my car.. By my intercooler... Of course thus denting it. He finally got it off and apologized saying there was nothing he could do. The next day I went to the company telling them what happened. The manager said it happens and there was nothing they could really do but he would let me talk to the owner the manager went back to tell him the story and came back shortly after stating that they'll fix it. :thumb:

So I take it to there collision center and they said they wouldn't try to repair it but rather replace it.. GREAT I have them the part number and site to the 1080 dollar intercooler and was on my way! It's been about three days and I haven't heard anything, so ill be down there just to make sure all is ordered and smooth sailing tomorrow! Here are the pics (had before and after thankfully)

Aftermath :

Course while I wait I can't stop the build!! Decided it was time for a new exhaust gasket...

After all was running well my oil feed decides to pour out oil. So I take that off inspect it, retighten and all is well! Hahaha, of course not! My oil drain starts to leak so I tighten the bolts.. To much my bolt strips. So that will be replaced tomorrow as well.. Along with the sputtering the car seems to be doing (Boost leak) just don't have a compressor hose at the moment.. So Ina. Nutshell the car is and will be back on the road tomorrow ready for my road trip thanks to Sean, who is letting me come up to his shop in Fresno to help a brotha out!

Damn bro sounds like things weren't going so smooth. Hopefully all is well. Not surprised I mean it IS a dsm haha

Yeah it's going.. Almost decided on selling the car, but what else would I do!? Towing comany is gunna try to "fix" it so we will see... Already upgrading to a 20g and I moved back to a sidemount. It's plenty for what I need and the spools quicker with the smaller intercooler and less piping

Man oh man it's been awhile! Well I heard back from
The towing company. They told me
To send in my Intercoooler and it will be repaired within the week. I received a call about three days later from them saying that my Intercoooler was done and ready to be picked up. I was in NV at the time so I had a buddy pick it up for me. After about an hour I get messages from him saying that I should take it back and that it's not fixed.

Upon coming home I went straight to the Intercooler and inspected it..

The following day I took it back due to the fact that it lT looks like a fourth grader painted it. After a few trips back and forth I told them I would pay for the "repair" they did. But in return they would have to buy me a new PR FMIC In which they did.

I recently took off my 14b due to excessive shaft play and purchased a new b16g ported and polished from someone here on tuners. After some time my manifold to turbo bolts backed up creating a huge exhaust leak. I'm now currently in the process of putting on new hardware, as well as gaskets to fix this issue. Another current issue I am running into is my other Balljoint is squealing as well. I have already purchased a new one and will be replacing that hopefully tonight.

Holy crap looks like its been a headache for you. Keep us updated!

Thanks yeah it's been a mess man! My exhaust bolt holes for the turbo is stripped now.. Gotta get a tap and dye kit to rethread. Thanks for the compliments I'll be updating it tonight!

Manifold and turbo are in! I ended up threading the wrong size tap in there.. Had to put a through bolt and cap it.

Finally gOt that PITA lateral arm bolt off.. I had to actually cut it, and then drive an hour from home to get the bolt I needed.. least I have the peace of mind that is fixed.

Finally got to cleaning out the car today.. The carpet and mats were a mess!! Scrubbe and scrubbed and got some results.. I'm looking for some new mats, but can't decide what color black or tan. Also rubber or carpet? I was looking at these

Wow, looks much better! To really clean these things you gotta take it out of the car and clean it that way, but yours doesnt look too bad.

as far as rubber or carpet, i think its just personal preference and where and in what situations will the car be used. california vs snowy cananda you know etc.

Yeah I agree it was just a quick clean.. I think I'll pick carpet, but what about color? It was brought to my attention that the black ones that I picked wouldn't match.. I think they'll match.. What ya think?

i think some tan and black contrast could work. found a random car on google images with tan interior and black carpet floor mats:

looks very nice. you should do it :) i jsut looked back at your pics again and you do have black leather seats so i think itd compliment it even better.

Great looking car dude, I liked the body kit too but either way it's a really nice looking dsm dude

Nice build a lot of ideas im getting love the color same as mine og wise...

Thanks guys, decided to go another direction with the build. I'll be purchasing ARP head studs next week and wîll be installing them. I plan to grab up some bigger injectors and fuel pump as we'll to run E85. Picked up thè first barrel.. Which was way to dirty so I'll be using that one as a fire pit (left hand side). The second one is clean and I'll using to fill up with e85 at a Cheveron about 30 minutes away. I'm hoping to achieve 350 AWHP.

Damn gas gauge stopped working.. Pulled the FP and found out why..

Float was off its bracket

Couple screws later!

On a few side notes I purchased a gauge, in which I didn't like so I'll be throwing that in the sell pile! I also decided to move the shop! Course it still needs power and cement but it's getting there!

Alright, a few small updates. I tore the Manifold/Turbo out due to to much side to side shaft play for my liking, so I'll be getting that rebuild here in the near future. This is how it sits

I also picked up an FP Oil drain as well as FP manifold studs/nuts for the block since I was leaking out of the oil galley I figure I might as well replace them all. So I'm waiting on that to come in as well as a front fender I purchased from Miller Imports. I also purchased a Walbro 255 from a member on here which will be in tomorrow.
E0EF3333-F984-4C79-A618-F79232CDEF2B_zpskttpyxya.jpg

Why the change in fuelpump? Well I'm switching to E85 of course!! I'm selling my current injectors, FIC 650's and picking up some 1000cc+ FIC's or RC's.

While waiting for all of this I didn't just sit around, i figure I should probably purchase a downpipe, and get it welded in to my catback exhaust! So here are the pictures of that. I'll be updating this soon as parts roll in and as things get sold for new parts! Thanks for taking a look, here is beast sitting in the garage... sad.. I'm daily driving a Chevy Silverado for the time being so I can get everything perfect and not be rushed for time.

Few updates! I purchased the following: ARP Headstuds, Walbro 255, ARP Turbo to Manifold, few random gaskets, Valve cover, as well as a Valve cover gasket. Here are a few pics if things as they come in.

I couldn't wait, I figure the valve cover had to come out anyways I wanted to see how well she had been taken care of.. Looks to be great from the PO and myself. Also note the FP manifold hardware installed.
