Hey, my name is Sherif i've always loved DSM's and i was lucky enough to get one as my first car. Unfortunately, im having a lot of problems with it.

This is not the first time i have been on DSMTuners. Im on it at least 3 times a week, whether it be at school, when i need help, or when im in the mood to see some nice cars.

Please watch take the time and watch the video

YouTube - My DSM- Need help.

You can tell this car has some PROBLEMS. Still love it tho.

Problems:
When i start the car the power steering (i think) sounds like its screaming
My alarm goes off when i open the door (i removed the fuse for the horn)
Now my wipers don't work.
I cant use wiper fluid.

If you know anyway to fix any of these please help. It would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if anyone needs anything photoshoped don't hesitate to ask.

First off, you have horrible aim when pouring washer-fluid into the reservoir. :p

The idle sounds fine over-all once it warms up. I can obviously tell that it's sort of cold there and from my experience, none of my past DSMs like starting in the cold. Here are just a few beginning things you can probe.

1 : When is the last time you changed the fluids?
2 : Have you checked the tension on your PS pump belt/Alternator belt?
3 : Does the vehicle ever have trouble starting?
4 : For the Alarm, have you tried putting the key in the door and turning the key to unlock it?
5 : Are there any fluids leaking? Leaking fluids sometimes cause noises like the ones you are hearing.
6 : For good measure, have you performed a compression test yet?

We're just going to start with the basics.

Haha. I know, what a fail.

1: Umm. When i got the car there was a sticker saying when the last oil change took place. It wasn't many miles ago.
2: No i haven't, i dont even know how... or where they are (im still a major 'noob' when it comes to this type of stuff.
3: It did when i first got it (around 5 months ago) but after i drove it for a while it never didn't start.
4: Yes, i have tried practically everything.
5: i haven't noticed any, but ill will keep an eye out from now on.
6: No, how would i do that?

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply.
