If anyone else may have noticed I have well passed on my 95 GS. The car's Engine is just passed what I would like and the Rings are shot. The car will never be exactly what I want and figured it was time to move on. I am now a DSM fanboy more so than i thought so started looking right away. Found this 1995 GST on Craigslist. To be truthful I actually passed over it several times due to what i saw in it. But As my budget or lack there of one would have it I kept coming back to it. I went to look at it and the engine sounded great, No oil leaking, no rust in engine bay. It does have some cosmetic damages and blemishes but nothing that I shouldn't be able to take care of. I do have a Donor now for some of the body parts.

This is my first GST and 2nd DSM and any tips and help anyone would be willing to throw my way will be appreciated.

Got those ginormous junk rims off. Not that my 16 inch are any better. but the are good size and are lite compared to those heavy spinners.

Now that I got the car tires situated I can start work on it. ( Had to put tires on other car So i could get it off the jack stands and move it)

Fixed the trunk pistons so it now opens and stays open . Replaced broken taillights with my good LED set from my GS..

Bath and Fluids are next.

Hey do u need a BOV that can recirculate? I have a greddy knock off I can give you. It was never used. Got with front mount kit and I have a real greddy. I''ll even pay for shipping if it's under 10 bucks. Just want it to be right for you. Shoot me a pm if u want

So Looks like I am in need of a new Cat So Looking into the whole 9 yards.. Headers, Download Pipe, cat-back etc.

As for the headers Do need a special Fit style to accommodate the turbo? Still a noob to turbo stuff so was curious so i can plan accordingly.

Also How much different is the cat back from a NT 420a compared to a 4G63.

Its been rather slow going but made some small progress on my GST.
Swapped my Headlights from my GS over. Yay now I have fully working headlights.
Bought new spark plug wires and installed them ( seems to have corrected a miss fire issue I was Having ).

Still need to actually change the spark plugs. ( Bought them however I do not have a big enough Spark Plug Socket for these ).

Cleaned Up some wiring as I am working on installing a new head unit so I can have music.

Ordered the BOV Adapter So i can install and recirculate the new BOV.

Pretty Much it.

So today I have installed my new BOV and is Recirculated. Looks by far much better. However may need to get some new hoseing as the openings where a bit larger than the adapter so right now really clamped down.

Wow major kudos to you

The 420a catback will bolt up to the gst the piping on the NT exhaust is smaller though. The cat itself will not be able to be used from the NT car because the flange is rotated about 45 degrees differently than the gst

Been awhile since I posted a update so here it is.

Fixed the Fuel Level Sensor.
--Had to replace unit and cable as both where degraded.

Fixed Gas door Spring clip.

I am planning on this weekend to install my OEM 97 style bumpers. Will be rocking black till i get the loot to paint red. Might wait and repair entire car so its all same tone.

Waiting on loot but planning on replacing all vacuum hoses and radiator hoses. Also going to replace hose and pipe gaskets and clamps to make sure all vacuum is good.

Going to replace Fuel Filter this weekend.

Realized I may have my plugs gaped too much so going to reduce them from 32 to 28.

Going to order a new K&N Filter.

YAY I finally have Tunes again ...
So was strolling around wally world for a time and found this Head unit for $20 bucks I was thinking really so grabbed it and the reason they have it for so cheap was it does not have the ability to play CD's. For most this may be a big deal but for me I prefer the use of my phone using the Aux hook up anyway. Anyway to continue on my story I bought the unit and funny was the guy at the register didn't even believe it was a real unit (Thought it was just a mount) . Installed the unit and too my surprise my speakers work.. Not well but they do work. My car does have the infinity amp still under the passenger seat if it works is still a mystery.

This weekend I am installing my OEM 97+ edition Bumpers so I will be rolling a 2 tone for awhile. On a side note if anyone knows well anyone in my area that does paint I would love to talk to them and work out something.

OBD2 Port is working again which is awesome. Turns out a fuse was bad and I over looked it. Now my interior lights work. Key ring lights up. all that fun stuff. Slowly but surly i am getting this car back in condition.

I like that OEM front bumper a lot more. Their is a guy who painted his side skirts and lower portion of his rear bumper black with from black front bumper and it looked really nice IMO. But liking the constant work your doing.

Trying , May not have lots of loot but figure one thing at a time.

Soon as I get some extra Loot ( Refund Hopefully ) gonna go to LKQ and try to score some 97 style sideskirts and High Rise Spoiler. Next part will be trying to get entire car painted .. Need to find a good deal or something.

Nice, I'm in the same boat for cash. Iv had my car for 4 almost 5 years, and still not where I want it. But my intierrior is done, my engine bay looks nice, still need paint. And now I think I may need a new short block here in the near future. One thing at a time will get her done eventually. My return is only 58$ so that's ain't gana help. But I'll be watching as I like all build no matter how slow they go.

yea eventually I want to pull the engine and rebuild it.. Hopefully before anything happens .

Still debating on color for car too.. Eventually wold like to go Kawasaki Greenish but till i can pull engine out and do the bay as well gonna keep it red. However thinking about changing the shade of red.

Plans for this weekend.
-Install rear OEM bumper, Vacuum and Clean car.
-Hopefully if all goes well pick up OEM 97 Rocker Panels and Spoiler to complete the oem look.
-Find a replacement Sunroof Glass and Frame. Really just the frame. Mind is rusted and leaks.
-Need to sniff out a place to get locally some single Stage paint and Clear coat so I can paint new parts same color temp. ( Planning to save up and have the car completely resprayed. )
-Re bleed Clutch.
-Fix Power Steering Pump Pressure Sensor.. ( I broke it ) no leak just the tip
-Give car exterior a bath.
-Going to apply some nightshade black to reflectors
-Hunting for some 17" Rims for good price.(Not black)

Been Compiling a list of parts I want as well so i can start squeezing them into my budget here and there.
