1995 Eclipse-No Crank or start

Hi, I have a 1995 Eclipse with the 420a.

This is whats going on and i have no clue what it means.

The car will not start or even attempt to start. The check engine light flashes with it being in the on position which i thought was weird. It did this to me the day before and I let the car sit for 10 minutes and then it randomly started up again.

My gf took the car to work, and now its doing the same thing. I can hear a relay click when I push in the clutch so i ruled out the clutch switch. But the car wont even crank or anything.

Any ideas? i was thinking Pcm. I'm going to go out of town to check it out cause my gf works a good ways away. But any help before I go would be nice.

I would double check the connections to the starter itself.. Not even getting the solenoid to click tells me that your not getting power to the starter. Check all grounds and battery connections.

Check the signal wire, mine wiggled loose on me this weekend and it would start occasionally then sometimes wouldn't even click.

Turned out the starter was freezing stuck. I hit it with a hammer and then the car would start. I took it to autozone and it did the same thing on there machine. So new starter time . Thanks anyways.

Good stuff! My fiero's starter does that once in a while. I use a 2 foot long piece of rebar! Gets the job done..
