2G 1995 Eclipse GSX Purge Canister?

So I have a 1995 gsx eclipse and my engine light turned on because it saying that canister purge valve is not working and it’s running rich in gas but I oreder the part and got it and I can’t find for the canister around I checked in the passenger side under the intercooler and under the battery and on the driver side and I can’t find it I need help

They don’t have the solution but it’s the same problem

I believe the purge valve is actually on the upper firewall cowl, just behind the intake manifold.

Upper right corner of this pic, between the fuel pressure solenoid and EGR solenoid.

Edit: pardon, I see you said the actual valve itself. Should be under the battery tray, passenger rear of the engine bay close to the firewall, attached to the charcoal canister.

I checked under there and there was no sign of the canister, is there any pictures of the location or something cause I seen that it was around there but i checked and it wasn’t there and I’m kinda starting to believe I don’t have it

You'd know the canister if you saw it, occupies alot of space and is kind of rounded rectangular. Check in the front driver's side, behind the bumper cover in front of the wheel.

I’ve also read it could be near the fuel tank or even inside the fuel tank.
