So I have a 1990 4G63 Eclipse GS N/T with a auto transmission that currently needs a pump. This car is a “Daily only” any recommendation on where to order the pump or any advice etc. I don’t know much about these auto trans just trying to get the car back on the road thanks.

Miller Import parts might have a pump or even a whole transmission for your car.
I mean and if they don’t what’s the next step like how hard are the parts to find is it better going 5 speed definitely would like to keep the auto trans any other suggestions it’s a N/T stocks trans don’t want anything special

I’m in Texas so any shops recommendation or any other online sites just want back up options

I have a whole trans off a was suposedly rebuilt, but I can't verify that. Off a 93 laser n/t I parted. $200 plus shipping it's yours. I just shipped a 1g AWD to texas and it was $250 to ship.
I don’t so much need a trans, I have one sitting in my 92, just I’m trying to find what’s the best option at this point. Not so much buying one but getting one built and who to get the parts from or do I need to stay away from the auto?

I hear some people say autos are hard to come by just need a little back ground info and recommendations on what’s recommended I do at this point like what’s steps should I take regardless that I have one sitting in my 92 I do still wanna get the one sitting on my 90 fixed or should I swap to 5 speed?

As best as I can see, the same oil pump, part number MD729247, is used in all 1G non-turbo automatic transmissions. But the price of that pump, if still available, is astronomical and not likely worth it.

Other option is the seal kit for it to repair what you have, assuming you have the pump itself, part number MD997931, which is a bit more economical.

Thank you also would you know a part number for the tq converter for that trans?

I would seriously consider buying his transmission, parts for those things are very scarce and have been for years now, last time I rebuilt one most parts were discontinued, you would have as much in a pump and converter used as what he is asking for the entire transmission, so unless you are going auto, I would consider buying a whole transmission if you can find one, just for the spares alone, the factory auto in those things are weak to start with.

I bought a W4A33 front pump from this company, COBRA Transmission, 4 or 5 years ago.

Both places I would have mentioned also. Thanks Brian!
