Yup that's the same gf I talked about in the other thread LOL j/k. You my friend are a lucky guy to have one that many friends that know what a wrench is no less how to use one and two a place inside to work on your car:thumb:

You taking this thing to the shootout?

The car will make it to the shootout this year ( as long as I dont blow it up ) I am a lucky man ( girlfriend wise ) she enjoys every bit of it.

Yo, andrew... You should have called me on that dual 6 to single 8 setup.. I milled one out recently for my own setup and could have made you one pretty cheap (you bring some beer over LOL )

Anyway, if you need any help or any welding done let me know. THis is my slow season and i'm just inkering away with stuff while my wife is in MS for the next 3 weeks, then i get 14 more weeks where she's back in TX so i can wrench all day and night :D

You guys have already seen most these pics but I had a buddy stop over with a d-slr and take some photos, turned out pretty well, here are a couple of the good pics

No biggie on the fuel setup, have it all under control. I have the welding under control ( fabbed for papillion welding for a year and a half ) has helped me out alot even since quitting working their.

Very nice.. Glad to hear you and the woman are still together and doing well. You are lucky, normlly the ones that do wrench and get dirty arent' quite as pretty as she is ( forget her name sorry)

I actually decided to marry mine here recently (as i think youve read) Just couldn't let such a good girl, that's not only hot but can wrench and field strip an M16 in under 45 seconds get away :D

We're going to start finishing up her turbo neon here very soon, and hopefully it will be a nice little car to smoke all these turbo hon-duh's running around here :)

calling you now!

The motor went in without a hitch... threw on the clutch/flywheel with everything else and jammed it into the engine bay. instead of a chain I didnt want to scratch all the bling bling up so I settled for a couple nylon straps a couple used shirts and some masking tape to keep everything pretty.

Now will come the hard part of tucking everything away and hiding it nicely :)

how much did that fuel system end up costing you? im looking into a dual 255set up and dont want to buy the full blown 500dollar set up. :notgood:

Nice build dude.

Get the PURPLE HKS timing belt ftw ftw ftw.

riley

Got the front bumper cover thrown on last along with misc. stuff in the engine bay.
Andrew.

How you gonna throw that water to air IC up in there?

I was waiting for that to be brought up.. the intercooler is a TIGHT fit. and am looking forward to tinkering with it

It is going to be hard BUT possible to do it. I cant really explain how it sits, but it sits right above the transmission and fills all the way to the passenger headlight. its a pretty big core and should get the job done.

feeding the 1000 WHP core is a 800 GPH bilge pump that should do the job cooling, I'm also going to run a 3 gallon fuel cell that I will fill with Ice blocks.
Andrew.

im lovin it! the colors, the detail, good luck on finishing it up.
i can see your gonna be pushin some big horses! :thumb:
thats gonna tear it up!

ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL

I remember you now. That red 2g that shot the rod out the bottom of the block and had oil all over the place. I even remember your face when you came around the front of the car and saw the carnage LOL ROFL sorry that was a funny video though. I remember everyone asked why run so much boost back then even though now it's not even that much compared to what others run. I sill think you should have called it a day after you had problems the run or two before it blew but you swore back then you didn't care because you had a built motor waiting to go in so to each his own.

Intercooler in the bay!

Someone needs to come out with more engine bay friendly water to air intercoolers. That looks like you will have some nasty bends in it. Def big enough though

I'm actually really satisfied with the dimensions, there will be a total of three 90* bends on this hole setup.

where as on my front mount setup I had 3 90*s and 2 180"s with alot more piping...

this setup should work out great.

the intercooler is good for more than I will EVER be able to throw at the car.

Yeah those are rated to like 1500hp or something crazy

Sorry, everyone. Despite being advised about this site's rigid stand against street racing, he would not drop the topic.

Hopefully we can see the rest of this when he comes back.
