Will 18x8.5" wheels fit on a 2g very well?

Let me give a little more info so I can be sure they'll fit.
18x8.5" wheel with a 30 offset and 245/40 18 tires (maybe 245/35 18). Will it fit?

Hmmm, sounds like Mustang wheels to me. With that offset and width you have no hope of getting them under your fenders. Some like to race with wideset wheels like that but they would look a little funny on the street.

What about an 18x7.5" with a 42 offset and still the 235 tires.

Thats what I got, except I have 225 tires. I could fit 235's but didn't realize that until later.......

I figured you already changed youre mind on your rim choice but I figure I would let you know that the original size you were looking at 18x8.5 +30 with 245s is exactly what I have on my evo and it fits perfectly. I put one of the wheels on my eclipse to see what it would look like and its not even close.
