OK, I figured the best place to ask for a quick response would be here, so here's my problem:
I just recentley picked up a 18G. Now It' doesn't have the plate that bolt on to the exaust housing or the O2 housing. Can I use these pieces that I need off of another mitsu turbo or is there somewhere I can get these items? Any help is much appricieated.

You question is a little confusing. What plate are you talking about? Are you saying the turbine housing is missing from the turbo? Post a pic so we can better understand.

Anyway, if the turbine housing is missing, yes, you can swap it from another turbo or buy a new on. I assume it is a td05 turbine so if thats the case, a turbine housing from a 14b will work. Unfortunately, that is a 6cm turbine housing so exhaust flow will be hindered. If you can find a 7cm turbine housing from a 16g, that would be better. Worst case senario is you can order a bullseye housing to go on it.

Its a Tdo5 18g...No, ive got the exaust housing on the turbo, but theres usually a 5bolt plate that bolts to the exhaust housing and then the O2 housing will bolt to that. Do you know what I mean now? I'll still try to get a pic to better explain.

Evidently, you have the wrong turbine housing. There is no plate that bolts to the tubine housing because the o2 housing bolts directly to the turbine housing. If the turbine housing doesnt resemble what is pictured in this thread, it is the wrong one.

Ok then maybe your right there is no plate...so can i blot on any mitsu O2 housing on this or do I have to use one specifically for the 18g? When i look at the turbo, it looks similar to this, but mines a 5 bolt, not 4

1g, 2g, evo III, or any other aftermarket dsm turbine housing will bolt to it without any adapter plate. It should have come with a dsm 7cm turbine housing which is a direct bolt on part. Nothing special is needed to install it. :thumb:

hey did you see the part where i said mines a 5 bolt and not 4?

I dont have a digi cam, but its the 18g that comes in the greddy kit for an integra, if that tells you anything. And i'm 99% sure the housing hasn't been changed.

heres an online pic of the kit, but you can't see the exhaust side of the turbo...

wow, that's a little more then what i was hoping to spend on that. I might do better to try to get from greddy. But none the less that answered my question. Thanks alot for all your help.

Ya the one for the prelude is what I think I need. In the top right corner of this pic right beside the down-pipe...

The Greddy 18gs use a t25 style ex housing. Theres a HUGE thread on Honda-tech.com about them. Nothing on this site would help you when it comes to that kit since the whole ex side is diffrent and has nothing to do with the DSM/mitsu version. Maybe a ssautochrome one for a 240sx would fit?

could you point me in the direction of that thread, please? Oh and SSauto-crap isn't allowed in the vicinity of my car, but thanks.

You would be better off getting a dsm turbine housing than trying to make something else fit.

But if he ran a DSM turbine housing it would not fit his manifold. The thread is in turbo systems tech or somthign like that.

OK, i verified that for some strange reason the t25 flange fits. Im going to use one off of a jdm 240 motor (which has a t25) b/c the elbow bends the way i need it to. thanks for all your help guys.
