I've decided to go with an 18g. Regards to that. I want opinions on what kinda setup I should go with (manifold, O2 housing, injectors, etc.) I would also like to ask if the 18g is as easily installable like the e316g. Please give me some opinions.

I'd suggest looking into a good 16g with supporting mods. 18g is kinda in between with little benefit to the larger compressor. Add small supporting mods and it'll be quicker spooling with similar power, but there's probably someone more experienced that can chime in

Or step to a 20g setup

Well I'm wanting that just so slightly in between kinda power. I mean why not eh? And a buddy of mine on here actually has his 18g setup. And I is willing to help me out. He also stated that with the tdo5 housing the spools of the 16 and 18 are the same. The reasoning behind the higher lag of the 18 is people using the tdo6 and sl housings. At least that is what I took from his explanation

The Evo III 16G is a more-versatile turbo with a wider range of usable airflow thanks to it's narrow hub and thinner blades which increases surface area of the blade as reducing rotating mass, resulting in quicker spool and better transient response. It's one of those deals where if you're buying an 18G to run 20psi or under, you should be buying an Evo III 16G. If you're buying an 18G to run 20psi or over, you should be buying a 20G.

Basically if you bolt an 18G in place of an Evo III 16G it will likely feel slower from the increased lag unless you're already running the 16G to the ragged edge.

Like I said I'm no expert, but I think a good 16g would be better. And going with a tdo6 sl turbine on an 18g seems silly and pointless to me.

If it's a street pounder, either the 18g or 16g would do the job properly with a tdo5 in a 7cm housing I think. Even in a 6cm it'd probably be fine.

supporting mods I'd say: link, ported/fp race manifold, stainless O2 housing, 550-650 injectors, decent fmic or upgraded smic, 2.5-3" exhaust Etc.

Figured Justin would pop in, he's the guru to listen to
