What's the thought on 18's? Are they too big for a 1g? If I went with 18's what size tires would you suggest? All opions appriciated.

Thanks,

Vin

It depends. I deff wouldnt race it with the 18s but if YOU like the look, go for it. I think the right rim on a 1g looks awsome! you can run 215/35/18s or if you want a lil more side wall get the 225/40/18s

may want to do a "dry fit" so to speak on those 225/40s though, I was thinking about how they fit on a 2g and a galant I had but never first hand tried that size on a 1g.

225/40/18s I run on my 90 GSX..I use wheel spacers on the back..the tires are sticking out of the fender..looks sweet ,like a DRAG car since I got it lowered on the front.
You gas milage will change a little...but for looks the 18 are sweet...I think i got spacers to go with 20" max..:)

I had 225/40/18's on my 92' it looked great but the ride was rough. I switched to 17's and the ride was better. Personally Im going with a set of 17's on my next car.

I like the way mine look, but I will going with 17's in the future. The performance will depend on the wheel you get. Mine are heavy as shit so of course they slow me down a bit. If you went with a light weight wheel, also more expensive, then you won't notice it at as much.
