I searched already and I couldn't find any threads on this topic. I'm about to get some Rota Slipstreams in 16x8, but I called Rota and the only thing they have in stock has a +48 offset, instead of the +40 that I wanted originally. I could order a new set and wait a month or two for them to come in, but I'd rather not, since the tires I have on my stock wheels are down to the tread indicator and its rain season.
I was wondering if I would have any clearance issues with a 225/50/16 tire. Right now I have 17x8 Enkeis w/ 235/45/17 and I believe the offset on those is +38. I run them with 5mm spacers in the rear and 3mm spacers in the front.
Oh another topic, I don't have a set of wheels to roll on besides my buddy's RSX stock 5 spokes. I searched, and it says they will not fit due to hub bore size, but they will fit with spacers. Will I be able to roll with the 3mm spacers in the front, and the 5mm in the rear? Thanks.
