16g Turbo on an Automatic

First of yes i searched and got 1 thread. I need to know what my automatic 1g TSi AWD needs to bolt on a 16g. I have 650 injectors and an upgraded fuel rail. What i need to know is if the 16g will bolt right up to the exhaust manifold and if not what do i need. I have an exhaust manifold from a manual TSi as well. Also, will the injectors work properly on my stock ecu without fuel management? Thanks you in advance

Forgot to add..... we just dropped a new 6 bolt jdm engine in that came off of a manual car.

With that engine no modification should be required to bolt it up.

Yes, you will absolutely need some sort of fuel management for those injectors. You could get by with a SAFC or MAFT.

You will also need an upgraded fuel pump if you expect to make use of those injectors.

im planning on the fuel pump definatly. how important is the fuel management system for the injectors?

I'll be surprised if you can manage to start your car with those injectors on a stock ecu.

You need the SAFC.

It'll work fine. I run injectors just a little smaller on MAFT only. Whatever it is you NEED some sort of fuel tuning device. If not you're looking at 40+% more fuel than stock, which, as Quasimondo said probably won't even allow you to start. Way too rich.

Could he come down a size like 550's or 510's,and run a 2g mas with the 16 and be ok?
Don't mean to butt in, I have an 1g a/t also.

i've seen many of them talk about using 550's and its okay. The MAF i dunno about though. I'm just going to go with the SAFC(the new neo one ) but first i gotta get the car running right. the new motor isn't working right ::sigh::

2g mas and an safc....Or just get an evo or 3g mas and it should be a closer adjustment without the safc
