15g Turbo?

Looking for info on the 15g turbo. Anyone familiar with it? How does it compare to the 14b? Flow? Lag?

I believe it is an upgrade that the 3000gt guys would do, but they use two turbos. You would most likely be better off just getting a 16g.

Well as far as my plans, I'm not looking to go too crazy with the car right now. Looking for a slight upgrade over my T25 without having to get too far into supporting mods for the time being.

Evo16g is in the cars future, but not in the near future. I was planning on going 14b, then found a 15g for sale on here and was trying to research and get more info about them.

So what is a "better/more capable turbo". The 14b or the 15g?

Now if you look at that second link, about a quarter way down, there is a chart, showing Max CFM and Max Practical CFM as two seperate catagories. Now the 14b has a high overall CFM rating of 430 as opposed to the 15g's 428cfm, but the next column shows that max practical CFM, which the 15g has a 405cfm rating whereas the 14b has a lower 385 cfm rating.

Now, I'm not well versed in knowing how to read compressor maps, but those are supplied on the site for both turbos as well.

Now like I stated before, I am trying to decide between the 14b and 15g turbo for what I am personally shooting for out of the car, as well as what fits my budget. Now what is my best option out of those two turbos?

15g has the smaller tdo4 turbine...i would go 14b...
