15" Wheels on 2g AWD?

Alright, before I go out and buy something, I wanna make sure it will work.

I have 15" Snowtires in my shed. They are Winterforce M+S tires with one winter of use on them. I don't have any 15" wheels, and I was wondering if 15" wheels will clear the brakes of a 1995 Talon TSi AWD?

I really don't want to lose out on a ton of money on these snows, which are EXCELLENT snows too.

Um, did the tires cost more than a set of 15" wheels will? if so, those are some damn expensive tires Never heard of 15" wheels on a dsm tho, so i cant help ya there

Base model DSMs come with 14" wheels.

but the base model doesnt have AWD or "big" brakes(bigger than the base model). i would say that it would be a tight fit if they do. i have a 1g so things are a little different.

Well, I can pick up some wheels from a junkyard for prolly around $40 total.

I don't think I'm going to get good snow tires for that much.

no they will not fit. The smallest wheel you can use with the "big brake" upgrade(stock on 92+ awds) is a 16". If you happened to have a fwd then it would work.

14's for a fact dont fit on my tsi awd, i doubt a 15 would either... the 14s werent even close.

All I know is I have seen AWD 2g rally cars, and the biggest rally tires I have ever heard of are 15". Same with the evos, I doubt their brakes are smaller than the 2g and they run 15 inch rally tires.

The offset will be important but if you find a set of compatible 15s try one on the front and see if it fits. If you don't have access to the wheels try specialstage.com, someone there should know and you might be able to find some wheels too.
