Ok so I have a 2g and I just got my 14b on now where do I connect the other hose for my mbc??

Straight one is going to the wastegate

Now the other one where?!
I dont have a compresser nipple and there isnt a nipple on the j pipe...

I could route it to the BOV line but some say not do

What to do?!

there are so many times this has been covered, but I will help. First off don't route it to the BOV, that is very unecessary. There is a vacuum line going from your wastegate to your intercooler pipe-where the turbo meets. All you have to do is cut that hose and connect both ends of the MBC. I'm not sure which side goes where. mabey someone on here can tell u that or just put it one way try it then go the other. goodluck

There are easier and better ways, dont use the bov line.

There are other ways, but it is better to run it from the BOV line. I'll explain why.

If you run it from the J pipe, it will recieve pressure, before it hits the intake manifold. Since there maybe a few boost leaks, when the J pipe outlet sees 14psi, the intake manifold may actually be 12psi.

There can still be boost leaks and the boost gauge could show normal boost at the manifold. This means that the turbo is spooling beyond the set amount and enough is leaking to make it seem like you're at the set point. In other words, boost gauge is seeing 15 psi, but turbo is really pumping out at 25 psi and 10 psi is leaking out before the manifold.

I'd rather be sure that the turbo is going to stop making boost when I want it to and have a little leak out and run rich than spool the turbo beyond its efficiency and still have some leak out.

This doesn't make sense.

I agree with 98GSXboosted but here, I'll chime in:

The easiest way to hock up a MBC is from the BOV vacuum line, just use a "T" and follow onto the MBC and the other end from the MBC to the Wastegate Actuator you can find detailed instructions here on this site, or http://www.vfaq.com/

Now the BEST way to do it, its from the J pipe niple like stated above, reason why is because you get quicker response to your wastegate, also better boost control, also you're not 'robbing' vacuum pressure from the BOV vacuum so you won't experience compressor surge or related problems caused by the BOV not opening all the way or not opoening long enough, you see: the better vacuum to the BOV the better you'll vent the unwanted air out, wich is good for your turbo, as you can now imagine by "Tee'ing" the BOV vacuum line your "sucking pressure" or vacuum (i don't mean to be redundant) will be a tad lighter, wich in proper terms its not good, thats why its recommended to leave the BOV line alone, just the way it came from the factory.
In the picture above you can see that many upgraded turbos have already the pressure line directly connected to the wastegate actuator for the same reason. just to give you an idea.

Hope I didn't confuse you.
