Okay so i've hit just about every thread on here related to mine and i've done everything listed. It's hard to say if i have missed a few threads so Please read my problem and give me an answer!!! i'll send you a Happy Meal!

...So i Have 2 MBC's one off ebay which had worked fine with my T-25 and another from a friend that looks like a Joe P. Regaurdless of where i install the mbc (to the bov or J pipe) i still get 10 PSI. Running the wastegate freely gave it the wonderfull 30 pounds and up on the boost gauge so i know the wastegate is not stuck.

I'm starting to have this feeling i'm going to have to drill the turbo like the t-25 and tap it. As far as i'm concerned if that means it will work i'll do it LOL. BTW i don't know if this is a dumb thing to add but when i tapped my J pipe i left half the tubing in the pipe so it's like half in the pipe and half sticking out so i could put the hose on the end. I didn't know if this would make it hard to get the air to the MBC but maybe i just answered my own theory. What doesn't make sense is that the BOV line boosts to 10 also with a lil spike.

Well if anyone can help or has had the same problem i would greatly appreciate it. BTW this is a Slowboys Big 16g ported and polished with bigger turbine. I still have around 10 more days of warranty on it so i can send it back if anyone thinks it's turbo related. Thanks for any and all help!

Trust, it's not the turbo. Mine ate (<-need to go back to school, is that past tense for eat spelled right? looks weird) my o2 sensor wire, and the fins are bent to hell but I still boost and boost well. I have another 16G waiting to go in but I'll wait till this one starts smoking.

Well after 3 days of really trying to figure it out, it only happens above 13 psi that i spike to. It feels and sounds like a spark plug is mis fireing. When i had my 2gnt i had spark problems and the car jus didn't wanna go heavy on the throttle. This car now hauls ass and makes that sound and the boost seems to go down a pound then back up after it "misses." i'm wondering if it's a fuel problem or really spark plug problem. I was beginning to think it was a clutch problem just slipping then gripping but i'm in heavy doubt of it now because the rpm's don't jump around while it's doing it. Along with the miss you can hear the car back fireing like it's being foul'd out.

As i originally said the T-25 turbo did this and now the 16g at around the same psi. The t-25 had baaaad shaft play but still ran good. i think it's time to do a plug's and wires just to be safe. The boost leak test is going on this weekend weather is so bad atm always raining. Along with that i have plans to make a good ball and spring boost controller.

I do have a boost gauge. Yes, that profile needs an update and i'll get right on it as soon as i get out of this mess i've made heh. Thanks all for the help

Get a logger before you destroy your motor.

As you probably know, get NGK BPR6ES plugs and gap them to 0.028".

Oh, and get a logger before you destroy your motor.:thumb:

Dude....

Boost.

Leak.

Test.

You're probably hitting fuel cut because you have a boost leak somewhere. Make a tester, test it. That's 99% likely your problem. And no, just looking at the clamps will not find all the boost leaks. Not all of them whistle, not all of them are big, but even little ones add up DAMN quick on these cars. Now. Boost leak test, and get back to us once it's been done, the leaks are fixed, and if it's still doing it. :b

Sorry guys i will be making a boost leak tester this weekend. I've been driving another car untill then just so i don't mess something up.

I had just assumed that since the t-25 was going out with mad shaft play it had nothing to do with a boost leak. Thats why i just had idea on it. Another thing i was thinking about is how i bought a fmic from a friend. Got it for a steal 200$ for a GReddy 18 row and he installed it and everything. funny how i could never get ahold of this guy again. It was bent at the bottem bad and had some type of plastic mold in it. I almost imagine that's where the leak is coming from. I'll let you guys know this weekend how it goes. I appreciate all the help and i couldn't be more thankfull.

Talk to you guys soon. Later

**Fixed** Spark plugs gapped at .028 right off the bat. Installed them and pulled out the originals LOL. Gawd they were plum burnt up. Put the new ngk bpr6es plugs in and took it for a spin at 13 pounds and pulled fine all the way to redline. problem resolved!

Building boost leak tester this weekend hard to find various parts for it! On another good note the wife may be getting a Cobalt SS Supercharged. Currently trying to get it financed at a good price otherwise we will still be looking. She currently drives a 03 eclipse gs automatic. It's sad to see her leave the mitsu family but happy to see her have something that hauls decent ass.

I'm happy problems fixed and now it's time to do a Timing belt, Clutch, Fuel pump, AFPR, and last but not least a hard option to either pull a AFC Neo or the Dsmlink. When that time comes i'll start another thread but so far i'm on a roll at getting things done. thanks guys it's been fun.

The 3Gs aren't family. They're a black mark on the Eclipse name. They're sporty-looking cars that can't get out of their own way half the time. :b

Honestly, head to Home Depot for the PVC pipe end. There's a MUCH better how-to up on the forums here somewhere, about buying a PVC pipe end with a certain sized threaded opening, then getting valve hardware to size it down to a threaded standard 'tire' valvestem for easy filling (with the added benefit of being able to mount a pressure gauge on a 'tee' fitting right there, so you know how much pressure is in the system without looking at the boost gauge). Then you just go to your local autoparts store and get a length of radiator hose that the PVC cap will fit inside, and a couple of worm clamps.
I made the mistake before of buying the 'press-through' tire valvestems and drilling a hole in my PVC pipe-end... was a PITA, leaked like crazy until I slapped it with silicone. Nightmare.
