Cant find any lines...

The way im gonna run the lines this seems like a better option. :hmm:

I don't have a 63 head yet and don't see any place for the water lines on my 64 head so im gonna use the soft lines to run from the turbo to were the FIAV water lines were.

Unless someone knows a better way? :aha:

If you do decide you want to run water, PM me and we'll talk. ;)

The water has to be supplied from a high source and a low source so it will continue to flow bottom to top (cool to warm) once the car has been turned off, otherwise the water will just lay in the center housing and not continue to act like a heat sink. If you look on either a T25 or 14B, the line in the front of the cartridge attaches to the lower hose area or block while the upper line attaches to the thermostat housing.

well how do the 2 fittings for the fiav work i have it blocked and just recirculated the hoses i was thinking of extending these lines to the turbo?

basically taking the lines off the TB and going to the turbo with them?

The lines to the throttle body only contain hot water from the thermostat housing intended to warm up the wax pellet in the FIAV, changing the high idle speed. This would not work as a good coolant source for a turbo.
