so i got a 14b, opened it up, and i noticed that its kind of small. the housing says tdo5h. my question is does the t25 fit on a 14b housing?? how big is the cold side and hot side of a 14b?

The 14b is significantly larger than the T25 flow wise. Physically, it's only slightly larger. Don't swap T25 crap onto a 14b. That would be pointless. Put the 14b on as is and sell that T25 to someone with a Honda...

This. If you look at them, they look almost the same in size, but the 14b flows much better.

Let me just clear some stuff up.

Good things can come in small packages. Most of the time the larger the turbo the more it flows, but the 14b is pretty compact. The housing will say it is a TD05 turbo because it is a TD05 turbo. That is the size of the turbine wheel. The 14b turbo is a 14b compressor wheel with a TD05 turbine wheel, most likely a 6cm hotside and a TD05 style compressor cover.

I agree and it is a fact that the 14b flows more overall air than the t-25.

With that being said, they are two different turbos, you can no just swap hotsides and colds sides of the turbos. One was designed by MHI and the other garrett. They are both bolt on turbos for the DSM/mitsu design manifolds.

Look up how to install a 16g into a 2g and follow the same procedure. 14b and 16g are both MHI turbos and are designed the same, small difference, turbine housing size and compressor size.
