The clutch is critical though. So plan for that soon. :)

The clutch is on the top of my list. My Eclipse has been sitting in my parent drive way for about a month now. I smoked my clutch in a street race and haven't got the money for one, I do now since my birth day is coming up :D

I think w/ the baro wire mod and some tweaking of the mas you CAN run 550's w/out an AFC. It'll run rich, but not to bad. But this is definitely not a permanent solution.

I have a question, i found a 14B but the wheel takes some force to move. Is that because it's been siting for 6 months and the remaining oil that was in it dried up? Is all in need to do is open it up and clean it out, cause i was gonna port it anyway. If i do that would i have to balance it? if so where is a good place to get it balanced?

Do NOT do the baro wire mod. It affects a lot more in the ECU than you think. I have it but only because I have a 92 motor in my 95 (1gina2g). I need it to get rid of Random Misfire CELs, and limp mode. If I get DSMlink, believe me I'm getting rid of the baro wire mod (it tells the ECU to stop looking for Random Misfires). My tuning is all wacky now, and it is quite easy to blow the motor with baro wore mod with out a logger, trust me :)

Oh yeah, the rest of it :) Yes you can use it tune now. You will need that logger to use it though, either way. As far as the turbo, I wouldnt bother with it. Does it have any shaft play? It should spin freely either way. There isnt anything to "open up" to clean it out thats not a major PITA. Porting on the other hand is easy to get the thing apart.

I broke my motor in on a 14b. They are really awsome turbos, and I know someone who ran very low 12s in a 1g w/ one. But have not seen anyone in a 2g run 12s w/ one, low 13s yes. It is a very effeceint turbo. The only difference in the fitment is the outlet runs to the top, not the bottom, that is where the "J" pipe comes in, And I do recomend all hard pipes.

I ran 12.8 at 106 on all 2G parts with a 14b. After some more tuning the next season I got down to 12.7 at 109 (109 gets me 12.4s now, look down, with beter driving) on stock side mount, injectors, etc.

I use a compressor that my ex bought for me. I think its 6hp 30 gallon. Not cheap. An air tank wont work. Those die grinders use a TON of air. My compresor has to run constantly to keep up, and it has a hard time stayng over 100 psi ;) See if you can borrow one at least...

well....... sorry, I drop off the face of the earth sometimes. But I now have gone w/ the greddy typeS and piping and have two 1g bov's now, and the Dbrode UPIC pipe to boot. I just have a whole lot of #@%#@%#@%#@% in my opinion, including my eclipse!
