My t25 blew on my 2g and I just picked up a 14b that is going to be installed Tuesday. Since my 2g is stock for now I'm going to have the shop set it to stock boost like my t-25 was. But will I feel any power differences between the 2 turbos?
I know the 14b is a better turbo than the t-25 and that's why I'm curious or will if feel the same? Will there be any power gains from the 14b at stock boost or not?
All answer and info would be appreciated .

Idk about at stock boost, but mine pulls pretty good with the 14b at 14psi. Definitely quicker than the stock t25.

14b will be a nice upgrade from the t25. With just exhaust fuel pump the 14b makes a fun daily driver. I bet more then half the dsmers on here first swap was a 14b.

You should follow this guide should be some nice little tricks to speed thing up. Tech Guide: 2G 4G63t Upgrades: Stage 0 Power - DSMtuners

Not the best guide of stuff rather outdated but some ideas keep your car up on maintenance and couple goodies. But should be nice transition in power switching turbos. Just remember you will need an j pipe for that turbo so fmic would be easiest to install that turbo otherwise rig it up like the 1g came stock with 14b. I would recommend a wideband and boost leak test after install or you are going to have issues good luck.

I bought a 16g install kit from forced performance and I'm having a local dsm shop install it. Il take a look at the thread as I want to have a little more power since it is my dd. my goal is a fun dd that can eat a few ricers every once in awhile. That's why I went with the 14b. Hopefully I made the right turbo choice.

Well the 14b has gone 11's in the 1/4 mile so with some basic mods, exhaust, intake, and fuel pump itbwould get you there. The stock 2g bov sucks I would look into upggrading that. You can get a front mount intercooler kit for like $300. But modify shop around your budget.

I'm doing basics mods slowly. My car is literally bone stock with a new head. As for bov I'm looking at ngr heard a lot of great things about it and it sounds good recirculated. Or il just go 1g bov as I heard they are a lot better than my stock BOV
