I searched but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I just need a turbo to slap on to get my car running and I have an extra 13g that works lying around. Will this bolt up to my 14b exhaust housing?

Edit: Actually I was just researching more and it appears that the oil feed is a different size...hmm

Not happening. Completely different turbine wheel. Just port out the 5 cm^2 housing and it'll be fine for now, just don't try any topspeed runs with it.

Everything's different between the TD04 and TD05-framed turbos. The v-band where the housing meets is different, the turbines are different sizes, even the coolant lines are of a different size. The only similarities are the o2 housing flange, the oil drain flange, and the j-pipe flange.

Just find another 14B.....used they go for $50-$100, rebuilt from $200-$220.

Thanks for the replies, that's what I needed to know.

jusmx- My turbo just has a blown seal, I started it up for the first time on my 420 build and it spit oil out the exhaust housing :(. So I was just looking for a temp fix using what I have lying around until I get the parts to fix it!

Common on higher-mileage 14B's. Even if the turbo is tight and has zero shaft play, the lifetime of short trips has taken it's toll on the turbine seal. The seal groove is normally so packed with carbon that the carbon will actually wear the seal paper-thin, ruining it's spring tension and ability to seal properly.

You can rebuild it yourself for the price of the kit using my rebuild guides- just be sure to clean everything inside the cartridge as if you were performing brain surgery.
