I have a 91 AT eclipse gsx and i plan on getting a MBC. I was wondering how much i can turn up the boost on a stock setup with out messing things up. I would also like to know what i should do to the fuel system first in order to run more boost. Any input will be very appreciated!
 
u probably shouldnt turn the boost up too much on the stock stuff. but once u get the essentials (mentioned in tech guide, link is at top of page on the banner). to do more boost, after doing the essentials, fuel pump (190lph or 255lph will be good) and injectors (probably 550's) and maybe a fuel pressure regulator. also, dont forget to get a logger...actually now that i think of it, logger should be first on that list...hope that helped
 
Hey, I used to have a 91 TSI AWD with the same turbo and ran 15psi perfectly fine with 100k. I never had a problem at all with that setting.
 
REMEMBER with higher bosst levels your knock count is going to go up so compensate with higher octane or lower Intake air temp. 91 octane 13psi 93 octane 15psi if you get a 255lph pump YOU NEED to get a AFPR aeromotive makes a great one
