looking for a hot 12 volt when cranking and while in the run position. any idea where the best place to splice in to is for this. i could use the a or b coil power supply but do not know if thats the best idea.

If you are inside of the car you can pull the steeering column apart and use the ignition wire coming from the ignition switch. But if not im sure there is one in the fuse box. Depending on what your powering may want to look for a different wire than the coil wire incase it pulls to many amps from the coil.
