Hello i have a few question and i cant decide what i should do. I have an appointment to get my car dyno tuned bye the people who tune Brent rau's car at db on the 9th. I go to the track alot so im not sure what kind of fuel i should get tuned on. They mentioned e85 and that they can get me to 420-445 on my 1000cc inj and singe wally. I don't want to get that close to running out of fuel but i want a tune for dding it and a tune for balls to the wall.(ware e85 would be nice)so I was thinking about getting some 110oct and some 93 and getting two tunes(witch they said they can do for me on v3). Do you guys think this is a good idea? I think it will be close to the 500hp mark at around 30psi. also what should I all do to the car to get it ready for the dyno besides basic checks. I am going to trailer it so i don't have to worrie about it braking Thanks.

Well I think if you tune on E85 for a dailey driver just make sure its readily available when you get down to 1/4 tank because if not you will have to put some 93 octane in to get you to the nearest e85 station and mixing the two after a tune will mess up your staraight e85 tune. My car is a dd , 504hp all the time on e85:D and i love every bit of it.

If you can easily find e85, it's the best thing going. Since you can save 2 tunes in V3, and it sounds like you are saying that on the 110oct you can get closer to 500hp, then do that and an e85 tune. You'll have way more fun on the e85 than the 93oct, and when it's track time dump in the 110 and go. I've got a dual image chip, burned for e85 and 91oct, and the difference is dramatic. If in a pinch you can't find any e85 and you have to run 93oct, you can just use the 110 map, since the fuel compensation will be corrected for gasoline.

Or he could just get a E85 tune and make the same numbers as he would on 110
Plus their over 30 stations within 50 Miles of where he's at so availability isn't going to be a problem

Let me clear about what I meant, At the same boost level he can make the same power
with larger injectors he would be able to make any power that he could on 110
Besides who wants to run and find $6+ race gas to DD when their's 100's of E85 stations with a minimum 105 octane(IE E70) at a few dollars a gallon
