Went to the track yesterday and pulled off a 10.9 @ 128mph!

Run down of my time slips.

1st run
60' 1.80
1/8 ET. 7.18
1/8 mph 102.9
1/4 ET 10.99
1/4 mph 128.75

2nd run
60' 1.74
1/8 ET 7.13
1/8 mph 107.51!
1/4 ET 11.711
1/4 mph 94.01 (missed 4th and coasted through the traps)

I was excited to finally get 10's but wasn't too happy with my 1/4 mph... Last time I was at the track it was trapping mid 130's with 4th gear breaking up in 20 degree warmer weather.. So I think something wasn't quite right.. Randomly I gained 4mph in the 1/8 and then missed 4th! In the process of getting speed density up and running then probably a more aggressive tune. Only thing different than last time is hoosier dr's which didn't really seem to do much in sub 40 degree weather... It started snowing!

Video coming soon!

Nice!!! Can't wait to see the video, i should be in the 10s next year..( I hope)

Lookin good! Get that 60' down and that MPH back up you'll be deep 10's!

Thanks! This season doesn't look that good to run deeper into the 10's... not that much time left and its already freezing! Damn wisconsin weather!

Congrats on 10s!
Great dyno numbers I seen to on the Chitown forum. Way to rep the DSMs yesterday and show up the Subapoos

Congrats! Looks like that second pass would have been a tad quicker than the 99. Good luck at your next outing!:thumb:

Good weather for FI cars, but bad for track conditions, congrats on that 10sec pass.I'll be at GLD in the next few weekends.

On a bolton turbo OMG. What a hoot :). Good stuff KP. Nice seeing yet another holset in the 10s. I told you that you just need seat time...

I also seen on Chitown, he put down 470whp on the Heartbreaker. Still with a stock intake I believe. Very impressive:hellyeah: Also looks like a very clean 1g from the vid I seen!

Dyno dynamics?

Mustang dyno... My best trap that same day at the track was only a 129... and the car has seen mid 130's with 4th gear breaking up in 20 degree warmer weather. I didn't have the boost gauge hooked up because I was in the process of getting SD up and running and had the MAP hooked to that pressure source. Thanks to Mr. peepers we finally got SD up and running and started to dial everything thing. Boost is only at 33psi instead of 35psi like I thought.

As soon as SD is all dialed in and get a more aggressive tune on it me, peepers and another one of our buddy's are going to go to AMS and hop on there dyno and see what we make! I was really hoping to break 500whp on a mustang but its all just numbers anyways.... I did however dyno the highest out of 40+ cars that day on there grand opening. :)

LOL seat time is always a must. I was happy finally getting into the 10's but there is still a lot of potential with this bolt-on turbo! The car is still a pig with a weight of about 3150 with me in it! I'm sure with less weight, different cams, smim and now speed density the car is capable of low 10's if I can get the thing to hook and maybe a trap near or higher than 140... Nothing more will probably happen until next year as far as the cams and smim. I wouldn't mind going back to the track one more time now that SD is up and running!

Congrats on 10s!

Haha thanks. That was a good time and a very long night... My buddy cong with the silver spyder put down some pretty good number for a 16g! 306whp if I remember correctly? I think he was the highest fwd horsepower of the day and beat most of the cars there!

Way to hit those 10's!

In no time 10's will start feeling normal to you ;)
