well ole blue is back in the garage, its been along time since but shit happens.pretty much all of a sudden the idle went to shit and vacum is at 10hg and less allmost stalling.i can unlpug the isc and it does nothing at all.i think this is what it could be but opinions are welcome.i can go like four clicks rich on the translator to get a decent idle but thats not right and get 15hg but like i said its something else.there no cel from the ecu and i checked for leaks with carb cleaner and did not find any.dam it ran so good last weekend and just starting being an ass to me after i just put on a timing belt, alt belt, power steering belt, exhaust mani gasket and went to the new 2.0 maf version from the 1.3 for christmas.i did that about three weeks ago so its not any of that.

so, im just going to sit back with a miller lite and do some searching!

:talon: It's sounds like you have your intake timing off just a little but, you could bring your idle up by increasing fuel flow through the translator. But increasing engine speed that way is going to create more vacuum, thats why your seeing more vacuum(15 hg) when you adjust. Do you have adjustable cam gears? I have a friend who didn't diagnose his engine, and had me change his engine for low compression because he was too lazy to check out what failed on his engine, He just guessed. Do a compression test. All the sensors in the world won't fix a broken base engine. :talon:

Why do you think unplugging the ISC should do something? If you watch a normal engine after it's warmed up and idling the ECU doesn't do much with the ISC. Unplugging it just means the ECU can't change it's position, so it's stuck where it was position wise.

well as long as i have been working on imports i should have known to use oem and really on a turbo car.intake mani gasket gone,fel-pro paper compaired to the two layer stainless mitsu gasket and now my hg is back to 17 at idle insted of 10.

unplug an iac from a honda and see what happens,i thought the mitsu would react the same way.i guess you learn something new every day.
