I realize this is against the rule a bit but to beable to help Nelson get his car to make that full pass, and it's peer tech anyhow, I will not contest his car. but Im sure others will most likely.

Thanks Jeff.

Wow! OMG Crazy turn of events here in this thread. Cool he's going:cool:... No he's not..:( ..... Alright he's going again:).... No he's not allowed.:notgood:

Glad to hear it's gonna work out. :D

I am also excited to see this car at the shootout. Great looking car and im excited to see it put down some great times. 8's maybe?

getting the lightweight fiver glass 11 pounds front bumper/diffuser and hood that we made in there :D Trying to get the front of the car painted next week , little stuff here and there and i think i am ready to roll :)

Can't wait to finish making the doors (12 pounds each) , rear bumper (10 pounds), complete one piece hatch (14pounds ), rear corners (3 pounds each) and side skirts maybe 6 pounds each.

Whats the current weight Nelson? Car is coming along great btw!

it was 2890 before i am sure it will be at 2800 with little stuff i am doing now it will go down with the lightweight doors and the other parts but no time now but it will be done for the WC . Either way i'm doing to put her on the scale to adjust the wait now and let you know the exact weight.

You plan on making a undertray for the car?

i had it before i am trying something else now. Between the diffuser and the oil catch pan is pretty much seal there. There is only a small opening that i don't think the air would get there i am sure is going to help to take the hot air out from the engine bay but its only a guess for now, i have a camera there to see what would be going on there. we will see how it works this way.

I was realy thinking in black and orange but i desired to be all white pro original paint w75.
Just painting the entire front for now. I still have to make the one piece doors, one piece hatch, side skirts, rear bumper and corners to continue painting

Nelson, unless i can produce the cam caps for my motor real fast the car will not make the shootout. Scambling like hell to make it but it's looking slim. If the car doesn't make it, we will still come and check you out.:)

The run i saw the car went i believe 9.8 trapping 161. The car was leaving the line super lazy, either nelson was trying not to break it or something was going on with the spray, regardless there is no doubt in my mind once they can sort out the first 60 feet and get this thing leaving hard it will go 8s. Still a very impressive car to see in person.

Once the issues coming off the line are sorted out the e.t. will be dropping big time. It's hard to say how much for sure, but there's a lot being left on the table IMHO.:sneaky: Once the car got under power down track it was pretty damn serious. Big mph car for sure! Good luck getting it sorted out nelson. It was still a blast to watch it run, so thanks for bringing it. :D

My best was [email protected] with 2 sec 60f LOL the nitrous was not working and we couldn't fix it there . i will fix it this week and go to a local track for 2 full runs before i do the full check up on the car for the WCF in november.

Those DSM's were flying over there, god... Kick ass event guys can't wait for next year i might bring the 3000gt full tube frame race car next year.:rocks:
