Ok, I've got plenty of bolt on modifications and i use mmcd datalogger. I logged a second and third gear pull and when i looked back on the graph, at 5700 rpm my injector duty cycle said 106.3%! I have stock injectors, and a rewired stock pump..wtf? It starts to cut top of third due to lack of fuel. I'm planning on getting a 255 and afpr so i can daily drive, will this lower my IDC or will i probably need injectors? If i do i'll save up for DSMlink.

thanks guys!:thumb:

I boost leak tested at a chevron's free air station last week, using my boostpro tester in the intake pipe, I sprayed it till it slowed almost stopped pressurizing at 15psi, so i let off to listen and the hiss is either an injector seal or throttle body gasket..So i have new gaskets and new injectors with seals in the mail. I couldnt quite make out where the leak was coming from specifically. So i should use soapy water?

How long did it take for the boost gauge to run down to 0psi after you stopped adding pressure with the air hose?

Soapy water deffinatly helps. Also if you are not sure if it's the injector seals give em a wiggle and see if the hiss changes. When i could not pinpoint where mine was that is how I found it. Good luck :thumb:

You shouldn't need soapy water for this, it sounds like a HUGE boost leak. It does help though. And who knows, your turbo is probably working really hard to make that 7psi your seeing so it could be being overworked.

my 14b is kind of potent. It was making 29 psi NO PROBLEM with the internal gate not working. But ofcourse i got fuel cut badly before i got the external.

And the needle didnt take long to go all the way back down to 0psi..I know i have a REAL bad boost leak. I'm just curious why it doesn't effect driving at any other rpm? The car drives like a dream till boost creeps up and fuel doesnt keep up.

For the guys telling me that my injectors are no where near maxed out i think they are right, I think the MAF is seeing more air than the intake manifold is, thus supplying way too much fuel for what i need.

1) i'm certainly too rich at WOT, even though dsm's are rich from the factory

2) The ECU is going to overwork the fuel system to compensate for the loss of oxygen leaving the intake tract via the boost leak.

3) I'm considering doing an FIAV blockoff plate to help get rid of any possible vac leaks in the bottom of the throttle body. I've recently been running the car with the ISC unplugged and it's acting amazing! Also my second TPS sensor is now going bad, every once and a while reading 98.1% when i'm warming the car up or coming up to a stop light. (making my afr's at idle sink to 12.0:1)
