Duty cycle and boost on apexi avcr

So let me get this straight. Duty cycle how fast your turbo is going to spool. And boost is how much you going to actually boost? Ive had this avcr for 3 months now. And I cant even understand it -_-.

What? No. Boost setting is pretty much a target thing and adjusting the duty will bring that mark to the target. Set boost. Do a WOT pull. Then adjust duty accordingly. Read the manual on Apexi's website.

the apexi manual vaguely describes the tuning method... I have found that none of it ever works... Usually higher duty cycle means less creep and better control, but slower spool.
