I'm not yet on the road because of an overly rich fuel problem, but one thing I've noticed with my car is that a quick reving can build 10psi of boost in Neutral (no load on engine). Why would it be doing this?
My mods... RWD, kevlar clutch, brand new Evo3 16G, cracked manifold with broken studs all around cyl 4, 3" downpipe into 2.25" exhaust, no cats, Starion muffler, stock motor top and bottom end with Starion IC, very short IC pipes (2" x 10" hotpipe / 2.5" x 8" cold pipe) Tial 35mm ext. wastegate...
The guage reading is an accurate Autometer guage Teed into a vac line off of the plenum...
Why would it boost so much so easily.. is this normal for a brand new turbo or is something wrong?
