10 MM not 13mm(Haynes Manual)-Retorqued Head

Does anyone know where I could get the 13mm allen head socket to remove the head bolts. I have went everywhere even the dealership. Napa said they could not get it. All info is helpful..

are you sure they are 13mm. aren't they 10mm?

I would like to thank Vintage for the info. My book says 13mm when actually its a 10mm Allen head socket. Does anybody else know where the Haynes manual might be wrong.

They say "installation is the reverse of removal".....a lot....

And they never tell me what to do with the leftover bolts...

And...if you're going to work on dsm's ....get the lifetime warranty on the socket...you'll probably wear out several...one cylinder head at a time...

I retorqued the head back down and drove it around and the temp never got up past 1/2 way. When I got back to the house I poped my hood and there was NO steam being pushed out my rad cap.(it was before I retorqued the head). I opened the rad cap. a lil steam and water came out but after I took off the cap all you could here was the water in thre block. I'm running with no t-stat. I also only had water in it no coolant. do you guys think it ok. I'm going to put coolant in it. (Oh yeah when driving around I outran a Lincoln LS light to light.)
