Haynes manual

I recently purchased a galant vr4 with no engine tranny or t-case and i haven't the slightest clue how to go about installing one. So my question is do i need a 1991 galant service manual and that will cover the vr4 or do i need a 1991 awd tel manual and that will cover the 4g63 engine. or is there a special vr4 edition manual I can't seem to find.

Galant VR4 and Mitsubishi Eclipse/Eagle Talon transfercase removal and replacement procedures are just about exactly the same, as are much of the other tasks of working on the car. A Haynes manual for a 1g DSM will give you enough detail to help you out.
