#1 and #2 Injectors not working??

Well my car has ran decently fine up until this morning, except for a boost leak but thats not the cause of this. I went to start my car this morning and it took a little longer then usual, it usually takes like 5-8 seconds of cranking, for some reason. But when it finally got running it sounded like it was only running on 2 cylinders. So i used my logger to see if the injectors were working and inface, # 1 and #2 are not working.

So, I really dont know what would cause this. If anyone has any ideas or advice then please shoot b/c im fixing to start college and i need a darn car!

check injector resistor pack on the firewall, MPI relay i think its called...and check all connections. :thumb: im dealing with a prob similar to this also.. :confused:
 
My MPI is good, Ive already checked it. But how do i check my resisitor pack? And is there any way I could tell if the injectors are clogged?
 
Anybody have an idea of how to clean the injectors, or even just tell if they are clogged?
 
Check to make sure #1,#2 clips are plugged in all the way. I had a problem with my #4 injector and it turned out the clip was loose. You can see the top very easy its right behind the valve cover. Just push them all the way down and test the injectors with your logger. Every time you test an injector it should bog down some. If you are getting no response, the clip is not all the way down or you have a short in the wiring. If your clip is plugged in all the way and still nothing. Hook up a volt meter with the car on and see if any voltage is going through your clip.
 
Well I got it fixed. Thanks everyone. Turned out my clips were a little off and it made a huge difference. Thanks to everyone that helped.
 
clips to your injectors? i still havnt figured out my problem and its making me very aggrivated :cry: would yours ALWAYSE run bad on 2 cylinders? or would it idle fine and then once u drove it, it would run bad?
 
Mine ran like crap when i drove it, then one rainy day it dyed while driving and would not start. turned out my pcm fried out.Idk if the weather had anything to do with it but it only ment it was time for an upgrade...LOL

check for injector pulse and spark, if neither one odds are your pcm is no good but then again mine drove fine untill it broke.
 
how do i check the resistor pack? i am having the same problem with #1 and #2 injectors. i used a buddys ecu and same. i dont have a logger but i do have a digital multimeter.
 
find out what resistance values are suppose to be for your injectors and test them to see if they are bad or not[DOUBLEPOST=1416074514][/DOUBLEPOST]haha this thread was started 2005

I know all 4 injectors work. I pulled the rail and visibly saw them work after using the injector wire plugs from #3 and #4. Had to unplug the coil pack. I got 12v to each injector. I dont know how to test the resistor pack, coil pack, or the ignitor. Dont know the values or volts or ohms.
