my car seems like it is a lot slower than 92 hp, it is all stock setup except for air intake canister is not there(custom bracket) i was wondering if anyone would post some times in their 1.8(stock preferably) like 0-60 0-100(please dont say weekend) or 1/4's and 1/8's b/c my car takes forever do even get to 60, like 25 seconds

what could cause that time to be so slow instead of stock because my car is really slow i got beat by one of those huge full-size dodge vans yesterday it was funny though b/c my car is really loud

One of our DSM's is a 1.8l (manual). 25 seconds sounds about right to me... :thumb:

Your car is doing fine, but even IF it did have 92 hp at one time, after you lose a little of that due to drivetrain loss there just isn't much left to play with. I am also not sure if mitsubishi rated our cars hp at the crank or the wheels.

The good news is that having mega-low power means that your clutch will last much longer!
(If I told you how many miles I had on my stock clutch you would not believe it... I have gone through a few slaves but the clutch itself is OLD) :dsm:

right now i have the turbo and the manifold and acouple of other little things.. the biggest thing i need now is a o2 housing which i have to fab one up.

well i dont have ne thing yet. i want to do it. and i have some money to get most of the parts. but im trying to decide if its worth it. or if i should just drop a 2.0T in and call it good. idk.

Shortly after my dad got his '04 Chevy Aveo. I was following him, and we both got stopped at a red light, and he out ran me 0-60, and he had my mom and sister in there to. However my 1.8L wasn't running anywhere near peak performance.

just slap a nitrous kit on it and call it a day LOL, (im just kidding, i blew my first engine up with a 110 wet shot) but it worked fine with a 50 shot, (my 1.8 not my gsx)

hey guys ill chime in--- i own a dyno, i also have a 1g 1.8l but its auto----just for kicks i dynoed my ride---all she has is an exhaust---it put down 63whp----does that answer why were so slow------oh btw that is on a 140k eng
