Hi, im new to dsmtuners.com. is there a designated 1.8 forum? where do i post my questions about a 1.8 turbo build and engine questions.

didnt kno it was rule - guess thas why im newbie if this isnt the best site then perhaps i shud be directed somewhere esle where theres a load of info.. cus im sure i will have a load of questions in the days to come.. i mean im sure there is valuable knowledge to gain here

I'm sure there exists information as it was pointed out to you. I've not seen any really heavy built 1.8's in here or anywhere else for that matter. I'm not saying they are non-existent. As we all know the 2.0 4g63 and 64 engines are the real horsepower producers in the DSM line. Parts are readily available and so is information.

If you are sincere and really want to build your 1.8 you might start by contacting Slowboy or one of the other site sponsors and see what is available for your engine as far as performance parts are concerned.

Who knows, you might set a trend. It would be exciting to see a 300 hp 1.8.

i talked to a rep from slowboyracing before.. he told me they could work with me but they are kinda expensive.. my budget is 3k and i wanna build up the internals and boost
